Clinically-Defined HBS from Patients
Cureline team works closely with principal investigators and project managers on developing custom protocols, conducting feasibility studies and managing biosample acquisition projects.
Specimen acquisition protocols for the collection of clinically-defined biospecimens include the following indications:
Metabolic Diseases:
Diabetes mellitus (type I and type II) Collection of diabetes blood, serum, plasma samples from patients with defined clinical criteria
Endometriosis:
Collection of snap-frozen ectopic and eutopic endometrium biopsies from patients with confirmed endometriosis and from a normal control group
Cardiovascular Conditions:
Atherosclerosis, Miocardium infarction, Left Ventricle Failure Postmortem collection of normal and diseases heart muscle, ventricles, aortas and matched serum samples
Maternal / Fetal Health:
Cureline clinical netwrok has sucsessfully completed several project on early non-invasive Dx studies and preterm birth (clinical outcome data are available for longitudinal collections). Inherited conditons registries are also available (Fragile-X syndrome, Cystic Fibrosis, etc)
